Wordless Wednesday: Nova Scotia

Wordless Wednesday is a daily prompt at Geneabloggers that asks family historians to create a post in which the main focus is a photograph or image.

Unknown girl in Nova Scotia from album of Helen Parker about 1918-21

This photo from the album of my grandaunt Helen Killeen Parker is simply captioned “Taken in Nova Scotia, Canada.”  But who is it?  Why was she there?  When did she go?

  1. She doesn't look particularly happy to be photographed either. I hope you find out who the young lady is

  3. Quite the mystery! In unrelated news, I've always wanted to go there. :)

  4. If you can find out who it is you MIGHT be able to answer the other questions. :-)

  5. Sounds like the person who wrote it was the one photographed...does the handwriting match any other writing?
    Happy Hump Day!
