Wordless Wednesday is a daily
prompt at Geneabloggers that asks family historians to create a post in which
the main focus is a photograph or image.

Hunting dogs were working dogs, I presume.
ReplyDeleteI guess that's probably the correct term.
DeleteMaybe they hunted, but they sure had fun otherwise too, or at lease the ones I've known! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteBeagles are sweet dogs. And they have pretty faces.
DeleteThey certainly did consider their dogs as part of their family. Those aren't just any run of the mill dog houses either---cute little houses. Did he build the houses? (was he handy that way?)
ReplyDeleteI don't know the answer to that. I assume he built the dog houses, but I never saw my granddaddy doing any of that kind of work. I must ask my aunt.
DeleteGrandpa looks like he adores the dogs...but the dogs don't look too sure about why they are being held like footballs :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Hump Day!
I think he liked his dogs better than people.
