    1. Skates didn't change much between my mom's childhood and mine, but my daughters had a very different style.

  2. From Top to Bottom this photo has all the right stuff. Cute girls with pom pom cap to giggles to Fritz to knee socks and lastly...ROLLER SKATES! Can't beat those combinations for a 'Kodak Moment'. Great picture...a real treasure!

  4. What a sweet treasure of a photo, Wendy, with the friend giggling into her hand and your mom cradling the dog. Nice shadow, too. I wonder if the girls skated while holding the dog, if the dog scampered along behind, or maybe he/she watched from the step.

    1. From what I've heard about Fritz, he definitely would have scampered alongside the skaters. I can see the scene now. I can almost hear that little girl giggling.
