Wordless Wednesday is a daily
prompt at Geneabloggers that asks family historians to create a post in which
the main focus is a photograph or image.

In 1922 or 1923, the girls of Harrisonburg Teachers
College bundled up for a big snow. And
thanks to the Polar Vortex of 2014, so are we!
Brr...
ReplyDeleteHave a good Wednesday!
Brr is right!!
DeletePolar Vortex...excellent 2014 Catch Title. Just imagine how Violetta and friend would use that phrase as they were standing ankle deep in Polar Poo. Ditto on Dana's Brrrr!!!
ReplyDeleteI kinda like "Polar Poo" -- a better reflection of what I REALLY think about all this snow!
DeleteIt sure is cold, and not just in their world! A lovely photo, and they do appear as though they are thinking hurry up now we want to go inside and get warm!
ReplyDeleteFor sure that's what I would be thinking!
DeleteYou have so many fun photos Wendy! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jana!
DeleteGlad I ditched Polar Vortex Land years ago and am enjoying temps in the seventies. Just sayin' ;)
ReplyDeleteDon't rub it in!
DeleteA cup of hot chocolate is called for!
ReplyDeleteAnd I just happen to have some!
DeleteIs Spotswood Hall still there? I love going to Columbia Teacher's College in New York as the building have so much charm.
ReplyDeleteStay warm! Winter hit here today...it has been in the 70's all month!
Oh yes, Spotswood is there. The only original building not there is Cleveland Cottage which was an old farmhouse that had been on the property when it was purchased to start a college back in the early 1900s. But the name itself lives on -- a dorm.
