Wordless Wednesday: Mermaids

Yet another goodie from my great-aunt Helen Killeen Parker’s photo album from 1918-20.  She must have had quite a summer at Ocean View in Virginia because she has pages dedicated to her friends at the beach.

  2. Look at all the different styles of bathing caps! Each one is unique. So fun!

    1. Yes, they are adorable, but most of them don't look like they offered much protection if you were trying to keep your hair from getting wet.

  4. I Wonder Where The Photo Was Taken From?A Boat?A Pier/jetty?I Bet They Had To Fightback the urge to splash the photographer!!!
