Wordless Wednesday is a daily
prompt at Geneabloggers that asks family historians to create a post in which
the main focus is a photograph or image.
Beneath this photo my great-aunt Helen Killeen Parker
wrote this caption: Watermelon Time.

What a fun summer pic! Now I'll have to go and buy watermelon. ;)
ReplyDeleteJust in time, too...Summer is almost gone. Your Aunt had to have been fun loving gal to pose in the bushes with a big watermelon smile!

Tombstone Tuesday...Who Was Inez?
Delightful! Looks like it is right off the vine! ha
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a pretty big water melon! Nice and juicy.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a delicious and timely tradition!
ReplyDeleteI love that your family took so many pictures and that they were saved from generation to generation.
ReplyDeletePerfect for summer!
ReplyDeleteHow fun!
ReplyDeleteI love to see some fun photos with all the serious ones from way back.
Happy Wednesday!
Isn't it great someone had the forethought to take that photo? It seems like the fun times in life weren't often photographed in the early 1900s. So glad someone snapped your great Aunt Helen.
