  1. That is my PJ doll, Barbie's new friend; who REALLY is the Midge face minus the freckles and red hair. Very MOD...PJ

Is that Potato Salad you are eating?

  2. WoW! I forgot about tinsel! There's enough there for many trees :)
I sure wish I had some Christmas photos...I was the 3rd kid so I think I have a photo with Santa from around 5 years old...you are very lucky!

    1. Yes, my mom loaded the tree with tinsel. You could barely see the ornaments. But it was beautiful.

  3. Wendy, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

And, yes, inquiring minds want to know...just what ARE you holding in your hands?

    1. I can't really tell. It's either potato salad or Waldorf salad. I'm a sucker for that apple-celery-walnut goodness.

I hope your Christmas was everything you hoped it would be.

  4. Look at all that tinsel! It must have taken hours to get it that perfect. The Barbie and the big orange ashtray also give everything a retro feel.

Happy New Year, Wendy! I'll get back to postcarding you as soon as I can.

  5. I love the tree! My grandmother's tree always looked very similar.
