See the popcorn garland? We had invited Ruth Cooper, a retired school teacher who lived in an apartment upstairs, to come on down and string some popcorn with us.
What a great memory. I remember in first grade that after we finished our work, we were allowed to go to a center to work on a Styrofoam peanut garland for our classroom tree.
We made popcorn and cranberry garlands at Christmas. Then after the holiday we hung them on the trees outside for the birds. Thanks for sharing your pretty tree photo and bringing back a memory.
