Wonderful series of portraits of your beautiful grand aunt. I like that term, but have always called my grandmother's sisters great aunts. Wonder why. Happy Winter Solstice!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I always say GREATaunt too, but somewhere I read that your grandparents' siblings are "grand," just like "grandmother" and "grandfather." THEIR aunts are great-grandaunt.
